08:00-10:00 Set off aiming to go over Reap's Moss but the area is being redeveloped for a wind farm, with much disruption, so avoided the area...probably like many birds! So I went around Tooter and then back up Greave Clough. Kestrel, 4 single birds with probably 2 pairs, Curlew, a pair on Reap's Moss, L.B.B.Gull, c12 over west, Wood Pigeon, c12 on farmland, Stock Dove, 1 near Sharneyford school, Swift, 4 in Grave Clough with a pair nesting under a house's troughing, Skylark, c15 singing birds, Swallow, c30 around the farms, House Martin, 2 over west, Meadow Pipit, c20, Pied Wagtail, 2, Mistle Thrush, pair in Greave Clough, Willow Warbler, 2 singing in Greave Clough, Goldcrest, 1 singing in Greave Clough, Starling, c50 feeding on pasture inc several juvs, House Sparrow, c8 on roofs on Tod Road, Chaffinch, 4 singing birds, Goldfinch, 2, Linnet, group of 3 taking water from a puddle, Reed Bunting, 1 in brief song.
