0830/1300 hrs 16/18 degrees bright, light North Easterly.

Robins, Wrens, and Blackbirds in good numbers.

Blue, Great, And Coal Tits, odd ones.

Greywagtail, several adults and young along the stream.

Swallows, large numbers feeding over the bracken, including many young.

House Martin, only one seen.

Goldfinch, very good numbers feeding on thistle.

Linnet, two of three in with Goldfinch.

Willow Warbler, one in Hawthorn.

Reed Bunting, odd ones.

Stonechat, one female and one (possibly two) newly fledged young.

Meadow Pipit, three or four individuals.

Kestrel, one over.

Grey Heron, one in tree preening.

Blackcap, one female.

Crows, Rooks, and Magpies in small numbers.

Woodpigeon, surpriseingly only odd ones.

Great Spotted Woodpecker, one.
