Report from Archie of a Little Egret on the shoreline this morning, the bird eventually flew off down the Limy valley.

Hi Bob,

I called up for a circuit of the res just in case but unfortunately no sign of the Egret. Other sightings were:

G.C.Grebe, 1,
Grey Heron, 1 fishing along res shore,
Canada Goose, 35 on pasture near point wood,
Mallard, c12,
Kestrel, 1 on wires near Nutshaw & 1 tatty female with a missing tail feather,
Moorhen, 1 on the lagoon,
Common Sandpiper, 1 on res bank and 1 on back pond,
B.H.Gull, c6 onres,
L.B.B.Gull, c50 over west,
Collared Dove, 1 over car park and into tress at Balmers,
Swift, c200 hawking around the res,
Swallow, c60 feeding around the res,
House Martin, c6 feeding around the res,
Sand Martin, 2 feeding around the res,
Pied Wagtail, 1 feeding on res bank,
Willow Warbler, 1 calling in car park,
Goldfinch, c12,
Reed Bunting, 1 singing bird.
