• little grebe - adult & large juv plus 2 other calling birds on large pond below Lodge Farm off Holcombe Road
• grey heron - 3 at the above pond
• buzzard - 1 over
• sand martin - 1 with swallows near Holcombe Road
• green woodpecker - 1
• spotted flycatcher - 1

• raven - 1 seen soaring near Alden

Holden Wood

• Cormorant - 10

• Canada goose - 100 flew in from Hutch Bank area

• black headed gull - c45 flew in as the thunderstorms began
