Great White Egret flying due north up the Irwell valley at 1320 hrs this afternoon, I have checked Holden Wood, Ogden and Ashworth Moor reservoirs since the sighting with no luck, Sarfraz has checked Calf Hey also with no result.

It might turn up again somewhere local.
