Clowbridge 2 - 3pm grey heron - 1 in field across the road goosander - 2 females common gull - c35 black headed gull - c115 great black backed gull - 1 starling - 9 flew over the res and flocks of 50 in fields to the west and south of the res rook - min 20 in field to south of res little else
Clough Bottom 3:30 to 4:15pm mallard - 17 on the res and another 5 flying over Lumb towards the res goosander - 2 male and 2 female common gull - c20 flew off the res to Clowbridge at 3:40 and c30 flew over the res to Clowbridge at 3:50 black headed gull - c60 flew off the res to Clowbridge at 3:40 and c70 flew over the res to Clowbridge at 3:50 dipper - 1 carrion crow - 8 near the res and 20 seen flying north over Deerplay to roost starling - 2 flocks of 12 flying east over Water to roost
