Around 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon another skein flying over west somewhere north of Hareholme - unfortunately couldn't see then from the valley bottom but must have been a fair number to make themselves heard above the traffic noise!
Also 1 kingfisher on the river nr Waterfoot and a singing dipper at the Limy/Irwell confluence in Rawtenstall - a welcome return.
