One this morning in the rushy patch about 100m north of the summit - very tame and didn't flush. This is my first in Rossendale for many a long year!!!
Also on the hill at least 10 skylarks - mostly flushed but 2 at least heading north and one in full, glorious song. A pair of tumbling ravens were the only other birds on or over the hill.
