mallard - 1m & 2f
lapwing - 8, including 2 sitting birds. 1 bird seen faking a broken wing to lure a lamb away from it's nest.
snipe - 3
buzzard - 1 over Edge Cote was probably the same bird seen later over Marl Pits
sky lark - 1 singing bird and a flock of 5
woodpigeon - flock of c60
pied wagtail - 1
meadow pipit - flock of 15 & 1pr
nuthatch - singing bird in Trickett's Memorial
song thrush - nest with 4 eggs in Trickett's Memorial
chiffchaff - 1 singing in Trickett's Memorial
willow warbler - 1 singing on the Piercy side of Seat Naze
goldcrest - 3
long tailed tit - 1pr in Trickett's Memorial
chaffinch - female carrying grass at Marl Pits
siskin - calling bird at Marl Pits
crossbill - calling bird at Edge Cote
reed bunting - 1m at Edge Cote
