6.20 - 7.15pm

 

EBSW:-

2 minMallard

1 oystercatcher

lots of jackdaws and pied wagtails

usual gulls swallows martins

 

 

Ashworth Moor:-

just some lesser black back over and 1 immature herring gull

Hi, Sarfraz give us a clue. Your post is dated Fri. April 29th 6.20 to 7.15pm - it is now as I type  April 29th 09.40hrs.

I don't no how you do it, whats the secret? Time travel?

By the way, how many swallows and martins is usual?

Hi Bob
That post was from my visit on Thursday 28 April (yesterday) hence the 7.15pm. I meant the usual species you would expect to see there ie gulls, swallows, martins which were all sand....also crows, woodpigeons
I wish I could time travel - I am gifted but not to that extent :P

Today 6.45-7.15 from the gates

min 18-19 Pied Wagtails minimum - are some of these migrant White wagtails possibly?

min 60 Jackdaw

no waders

1 blackcap

1 immature 2-3 year old Lesser Black Backed gull over
6 Mallard

Visited about 8 am - just Jackdaws on today.....no wagtails......Willow Warbler and Blackcap singing nearby

visited today 8.45am for 15 minutes...just corvids and black headed gulls...1 drake mallard

song thrush willow warbler and blackcap in song
