Hi Bob

A good collection of House Martin nests up Grange and some that look like new sites

And a good number of them look to be still active

Hi Craggs, not too sure where you mean by Grange. I'm aware of long standing colonies at Grange Rd/Grange St/Grange Terr. area of Rawtenstall. Is this the area?

Regarding young in the nest - in a few cases pairs are still feeding young into September, so well worth monitoring any colonies into the autumn.

Bob.
