Took a holiday to Mallorca this year and still as good as ever, five years since my last visit, with the following being noted:

Dabchick, c6 at Albufereta,

Cormorant, just a couple noted,

Shag, c20,

Little Bittern, single flew over 3 times at Albufera,

Night Heron, 2 at Albufereta,

Cattle Egret, c40 in grasslands in flocks to 6,

Little Egret, big numbers on all marshy areas with perhaps 250 seen,

Great White Egret, 2 at Albufereta,

Grey Heron, c20,

Purple Heron, c8 at Albufereta,

Glossy Ibis, single at Albufera,

Shelduck, pair at Albufereta,

Mallard, c30,

Gadwall, 2 at Albufera,

Marbled Duck, 3 at Albufera which was a new species for me,

Teal, 1 at Albufereta,

Black Vulture, apparently there are now 150 birds present in the Tramuntana Mountains and birds were seen most days with a group of 4 soaring birds in Boquer the highlight,

Osprey, 1 at Albufera,

Booted Eagle, c6 with 3 mobbing Black Vulture in Boquer,

Marsh Harrier, 2 at Albufera,

Kestrel, c6,

Eleonora's Falcon, min 7 seen chasing around the cliffs inBoquer,

Peregrine, 2 juvs attacking pigeons at Albufereta,

Red Legged Partridge, calling in Boquer,

Water Rail, 1 seen and several heard at Albufereta,

Coot, c200,

Red Nobbed Coot, 1 at Albufera,

Moorhen, c30,

Purple Gallinule, c6 at both Albufera & Albufereta,

Black Winged Stilt, just a single at Albufera,

Stone Curlew, flock of 5 at Albufereta,

Little Ringed Plover, 1 at Albufereta,

Kentish Plover, c40 at Albufereta,

Dunlin, 1 at Albufereta,

Curlew Sandpiper, 1 at Albufera,

Green Sandpiper, c4 at Albufera,

Common Sandpiper, c4 at Albufera,

Greenshank, 1 at Albufera,

Black Headed Gull, c30,

Yellow Legged Gull, c12,

Audouin's Gull, min of 38 on rocks at Port de Pollenca, 

Hoopoe, c12 especially at Albufereta,

Kingfisher, 1 at Albufereta,

Sand Martin, 1 at Albufereta,

Crag Martin, 6 in Boquer,

Swallow, c200,

Yellow Wagtail, 3 at Albufereta,

Stonechat, plenty everywhere with perhaps 100 seen,

Blue Rock Thrush, single male seen 3 times in Boquer,

Sardinian Warbler, everywhere with perhaps 150 seen,

Fan Tailed Warbler, c20 on Albufereta,

Cetti's Warbler, c30, singing from all suitable areas,

Willow Warbler, c12 including 1 in sub-song,

Spotted Flycatcher, commonest bird on the island with perhaps 500 seen! Hopefully means a good breeding season,

Woodchat Shrike, c6,

Raven, c4 pairs seen,

House Sparrow, very common with c300 going to roost at night and passing back through at dawn,

Goldfinch, c100,

Serin, c30,
