• sparrowhawk - 1 hunting the area for 1 hour, at one point stooping at a flock of redwings from approx. 100 metres away unsuccessfully
• stock dove - 1
• redwing - min 100
• song thrush - c6 mixing and feeding with redwings. thought to be continental birds
• siskin - flock of c25
• bullfinch - 2 calling birds

• mallard - 8
• teal - 2
• goosander - 1 redhead
• lapwing - c60
• black headed gull - 5
• common gull - 6
• lesser black backed gull - 1
• kestrel - 1 male
• skylark - calling bird flying over the res
• meadow pipit - c12
• pied wagtail - 2
• grey wagtail - 2
• stonechat - 1m in the clear fell & a party of 5 at Windy Bank
• redwing - flock of 5 over towards D
• long tailed tit - flock calling but not seen
• siskin - heard several times in different areas, but may have been the same 2 birds moving around
• redpoll - calling bird flying alongside the res
• bullfinch - 1 male
• crossbill - 2 flew over the res from the trees at the north end of the res
• reed bunting - 3
