First thing to say is no Waxwings were seen by myself or Geoff, we hunted all the likely spots till dusk last night, and I spent a couple of hours from dawn this morning with no luck.
All that said I have spoken with some well informed people this morning and am convinced they were in this area yesterday around midday.
Of interest on both visits were......
Several flocks of Redwing numbering 100+
Two or three flocks of Tits including unusually good numbers of Goldcrest, odd Greenfinch and one Lesser Redpoll this morning.
