Holden Wood

Ogden

• stonechat - lone female & a lone male
• fieldfare - 14
• blackbird - 5 feeding with the fieldfares
• carrion crow - 12

Calf Hey

• teal - min 9
• goldeneye - 2 female/ immatures
• goosander - 1 male
• black headed gull - 40
• common gull - 2
• lesser black backed gull - 1
• great spotted woodpecker - 1
• grey wagtail - 1
• dipper - 1 on feeder stream from Fairy Glen
• stonechat - 1 pr
• nuthatch - calling bird

• long tailed tit - flocks of 5 & 6 plus calling birds in another location & a min of 12 in large mixed species flock

• goldcrest - min 20 in large mixed species flock

Clough Head

• chiffchaff - calling bird near the roadside where the path goes to Calf Hey
• goldfinch - min 20 on feeders

Heap Clough
