Geoff Margison found a Willow Tit with a flock of mixed Tits yesterday in Dearden Clough (between Bury road and Rochdale road) we have been back this morning to try and relocate the bird, but without succes.

Anyone around that way could try again, the path runs between both main roads, the houses are elevated above the path and appear to have feeders in the gardens which are attracting the Tit flocks.

Regards Brian.

Hi Brian,

I called up this afternoon between 13:30-14:30 but no sign of the Willow Tit.

Lots of L.T.Tits with approx. 20 feeding in trees plus c8 of both Great Tit and Blue Tit and a single Coal Tit.

Also heard Bullfinch calling.

Regards,
David.
