G.C.Grebe, 1 fishing middle of res,

Cormorant, constantly coming and going with 18 seen at max,

Teal, 3 in middle of res,

Mallard, c6,

Scaup, constantly diving at the top end then later sleeping on water,

Goosander, 3 males and 3 redheads chasing around,

Common Sandpiper, initially disturbed from North Bay and flew across the res to South Bay. Later picked up near boat house and then flew to South Bay again where it fed on the shore line.

Snipe, 6 disturbed from res bank between boat house and South Bay,

Lapwing, c40 flying over res and in North Bay,

G.B.B. Gull, 2 x 1st winter birds,

Common Gull, c6,

B.H.Gull, c12,

Grey Wagtail, 1 over calling,

Stonechat, pair in bank side willows at North Bay,

Redwing, calling from Point Wood,

Fieldfare, flock of c12 near Nutshaw,

Rook, 2 over,

Starling, flock of c20 at Loveclough,

Goldfinch, c6 in car park,

Greenfinch, 1 in car park,

Reed Bunting, 1 near boat house,

Hi Dave

I was up at Clowbridge after you left.  I can't add much to what you saw other than the following

cormorants - increased to 24

teal - 6 birds present

herring gull - c5 birds in field to south of res. Another bird across the road from the res was patting the ground with it's feet in the hope of catching worms.  A common gull was doing the same

pied wagtail - 1

greenfinch - 2

reed bunting - min 4 birds

The common sandpiper was in north bay.  A couple of distant record shots attached
