36 waxwings feeding at Newhallhey/Groundwork today at 15:10 hrs.

Still there at 16.45 but flew off west and no sign for the next half hour in the immediate area. Cheers Bob

Present again this morning from 8.00 till 9.00 at least (usual area around gym car park)

35 waxwings present to around 12:30 at least along with 1 redwing.  Peregrine on  the chimney and a cormorant flying down the valley

Still 35 there again this morning.  They scattered when male Peregrine came stooping right through them.. Female Pere sat up on chimney then left towards Rawtenstall centre. 

6+ Redwing on berry trees too. Male singing occasionally.

Lots of ROC members and non members present enjoying the good views.
