I had a full 7 hours on the River today ,observing the activity and must say compared to my previous accountable visitis on May 7th for the last five years it was a sorry affair.

The main part of the day that confirmed to me that there is possibly issues with birds finding food was watching two Male Kingfishers fighting ,one was showing signs of giving in when the dominant one almost drowned it .That told me that birds were moving away from established territories in desperation of finding food .
