Cormorant - 1 flew down the Irwell Valley
Pink-footed goose - heard calling in flight at 12:40. No idea of numbers or direction, but sounded to be a small skein

kestrel - 1 with metal ring on right leg, no doubt ringed by Craig
skylark - 1
great spotted woodpecker - 1
kingfisher - 1
meadow pipit - 64 including 1 flock of 42 birds
grey wagtail - 1
woodpigeon - 14
swallow - 5
wren - 5
dunnock - 8
robin - 14
blackbird - 7
jay - 1
magpie - 11
carrion crow - 10
jackdaw - c50
coal tit - min 3
nuthatch - 1
great tit - 2 seen many others calling
blue tit - 3 seen many others calling
long tailed tit - 2 seen many others calling

goldfinch - 3
greenfinch - 1 calling
bullfinch - 1 calling
