• cormorant - 1 flew down the Irwell valley and dropped onto the river below Staghills Woods
• heron - 1 at Warth
• buzzard - 1 harassed by a herring gull
• kestrel - 1 at Warth & 1 near Lowe Lodge
• large gulls - c85 flew down the Irwell valley around 10:35.  Appeared to be mostly herring gulls. 
• golden plover - flocks of 14 & 28 flew off Cowpe Lowe
• woodcock - 1 at Warth
• stock dove - 1pr flew over Lowe Lodge towards Balladen
• woodpigeon - 6 at Warth
• meadow pipit - 1 near Lowe Lodge & 1 on Cowpe Lowe
• robin - 11 at Warth
• blackbird - 12 at Warth
• dipper - 1 singing at Warth
• goldcrest - 2 at Warth
• treecreeper - 1 at Warth
• wren - 4 at Warth
• dunnock - 2 at Warth
• blue tit - 8 at Warth
• great tit - 10 at Warth
• raven - 2 flew over BRGS towards Warth
• jackdaw - c35 at Warth & c120 over Waterfoot
• carrion crow - 5 near Lowe Lodge & 3 at Warth
• magpie - 3 at Warth
• chaffinch - 6 at Warth
• greenfinch - 5 at Warth
• goldfinch - 4 at Warth
• bullfinch - 1 at Warth
