Cormorant, 5 on Ogden,

Grey Heron, 1 on Holden Wood,

Barnacle Goose, 1 in with Canada flock on pasture on the north side of Ogden. I don't think I would have picked it up without scanning through the flocks so thanks Craggy for the find!

Canada Goose, c90 at various locations,

Mallard, c12,

Teal, 9 on Holden Wood,

Goldeneye, 5, inc adult male on Ogden,

Buzzard, 2 pairs and 4 singles. 1 bird with wing tags but I couldn't be sure of the colours in bright light.

Kestrel, 1 either side of Holden Wood plus a single in Jamestones,

Coot, 1 on Holden Wood,

Moorhen, 1 on Holden Wood,

Oystercatcher, 2 on pasture near Ogden and 3 over Clough Head,

Lapwing, flock of 17 at Holden Wood,

Snipe, 1 at Holden Wood and 2 out of outflow around Ogden,

B.H.Gull, c20 on Holden Wood,

Herring Gull, flocks of 4 & 7 east down the valley,

Stock Dove, 10 in Jamestones and 2 in Troy,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1 at bottom of Heap Clough,

Mistle Thrush, pair and a single,

Song Thrush, 2 singing birds,

Fieldfare, flock of 16 over north east,

Coal Tit, c6,

L.T.Tit, c6 at Clough Head feeding station,

Nuthatch, 3 around Calf Hey car park,

Jay, 1 at Clough Head,

Goldfinch, c8,

Chaffinch, c20, many in song.
