Grey Heron, 1 over,

Canada Goose, c70, many in pairs,

Mallard, c12,

Teal, 5 on Holden Wood,

Buzzard, 3 up together, 

Sparrowhawk, female soaring,

Kestrel, male on telegraph post,

Grey Partridge, pair dropping off the moor into Deep Clough,

Pheasant, calling bird,

Moorhen, 1 on Holden Wood,

Oystercatcher, pair,

Lapwing, c6 pairs, mainly at Holden Wood,

Snipe, 2 flushed off the tops,

L.B.B.Gull, 1 over,

B.H.Gull, c12,

Wood Pigeon, flock of 34 feeding in a field near Calf Hey,

Stock Dove, 3 over & 2 in Jamestones,

Green Woodpecker, birds 'yaffling' from many locations. 2 seen together flying from Calf Hey towards Crowtrees,

G.S.Woodpecker, calling bird near Troy,

Skylark, c15 on the tops,

Meadow Pipit, c20, several in display,

Wheatear, male above Troy,

Stonechat, female above Troy,

Mistle Thrush, singing bird,

Song Thrush, pair at bottom of track from Troy,

Coal Tit, c12, many in song,

L.T.Tit, pair in Heap Clough,

Nuthatch, 2 singing at Calf Hey,

Treecreeper, 1 at Calf Hey,

Jay, 2 near Clough Head,

Chaffinch, c20, many in song,

Goldfinch, 4 near Troy,

Siskin, 1 at Clough Head,

Reed Bunting, 1 calling & 1 singing bird at Holden Wood.
