Rawtenstall to Stubbins and back
Willow warbler - 1 singing north side EBSW during a very brief sunny interlude
Sand Martin - 1 over Stubbins south in the rain possibly additional to Brian's birds seen earlier (?)
Chiffchaff - 1 Groundwork on the way down and going back, 1 south of Strongstry with Brian and 1 nr K Steel on the way back. All singing in the rain!

Glad you got at least one Sand Martin Andy, after we got soaked I went back down the river around 1530 hrs and can add...
Sand Martin....6/7 over my house just before the rain and Andy came, 3 more over Alderbottom later.
Chiffchaff...one singing near picture frame and another one preening on the cycle track.
Kingfisher...calling flying upstream.
Song/Mistle Thrush in song.
Treecreeper....pair feeding on cycle track near my house.
