Moorhen, 2 well grown young in a nest plus adult on HTL,

L.B.B.Gull, c50 over,

Stock Dove, 1 near Twin Lodges,

Collared Dove, 1 at Townsendfold,

Swift, c20 over town,

Kingfisher, 1 on HTL,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1 at Whitaker Park,

Swallow, c12 near Twin Lodges / Height End,

House Martin, c20 near Twin Lodges,

Grey Wagtail, family of 3 in Irwell at Townsendfold,

Song Thrush, 1 in Whitaker Park,

Blackcap, female in bush along side the river at Townsendfold,

Chiffchaff, 2 singing birds near Groundwork,

Goldcrest, 3 singing from gardens,

Nuthatch, 1 in Whitaker Park,

House Sparrow, many on the houses along the route with perhaps 40 seen,

Linnet, just 1 off Oakenhead Road,
