0700/0830 hrs this morning, cool 16 degrees, calm and overcast.
Around the area of Porritt lodge and East view lodge an hour before dusk last night I had good numbers of Willow Warblers very active in low lying shrubs.
I returned this morning around 0630 hrs and found only an odd one feeding, by 0730 hrs the numbers had increased to around 40, these I assume were in the shrubs as nothing flew in, by 0800hrs they had all moved off in groups of 8/12 with a total number of around 65, they all flew southish over Ox Hey wood towards Holcombe village.
Regards Brian.
