min 2 Little Egrets on Irwell visible from A56 Dual Carriageway southbound on Saturday 18 August 10.30am with 1 present  6.15pm  today 19 August.

Visit up to Grane produced no new Waders unsurprisingly but got a call from Craig who spotted an Osprey  low over Irwell heading to Grane-ish.  I had a quick drive around and from the carriageway so a large bird over head circling but not too low edging towards Haslingden Cricket Club - obviously larger than a Buzzard.  Maybe it will be at Grane tomorrow morning fishing from 9am - 12 noon?
