Calling at Sizergh Castle hoping for a Hawfinch but for me and two other birders nothing was Spotted,so off to Leighton Moss 

First bird of the day right in front of the hide was a cracking View of a Jack Snipe with 3 Common Snipe,it was constantly bobbing up and down while feeding with the other 3 Snipe great to watch

Great White Egret 2

Little Egret 5 

Jack Snipe 2 in all

Common Snipe 15 in all 

Cettis Warbler 1

Marsh Tit

Jay

Teal

Shoveler

Wigeon

Gadwall

Tufted Duck

Goldeneye

Pintail

Little Grebe

Goosander

Water Rail

Coot

Mallard

Greylag

Pink-footed Goose

Curlew

Oystercatcher

Lapwings

Buzzard

Marsh Harrier 2

No sightings of the Great Grey Shrike that was reported seen the other day 

and one Otter catching Eels

End of the day was rounded up with thousands of Starlings coming into roost
