Golden Plover - 35 to 40 flying around Scholes Height area then 15 north over Causeway Height. Single birds at 3 locations

Lapwing - 8 nr Bull Hill then 16 Causeway Height

Curlew - 1 Scholes Height and 1 west of Causeway Height

Snipe - 1 Scholes Height

Red Grouse - 1 Wet Moss

Probably less than 10 skylarks today (after the vast numbers during the week) and no meadow pipits on the higher ground.

Now 2 coots at HTL and the tame greylags are still on the river bend nr K Steel
