Sunshine, cold easterly, 6 degrees. 0800/1030 hrs.

Wheatear....10 M&F feeding in fields around Wham Hill farm, four more opposite Moorlands farm.

Stonechat....Male on territory near substation.

Two Pair Curlew calling and feeding in fields, two more lower down near Buckhurst.

Several Meadow Pipit and Skylark calling and displaying in the wind.

8/10 Swallow hawking over Cheesden brook.

Greenfinch.....three in conifers at Moorlands farm.

Reed Bunting.....two males singing next to Cheesden brook

Single Kestrel over Buckhurst, plenty Mallard and pair of Canada Goose on the lodge.

Single Chiffchaff in Song at lodge.

Fields around Rossendale school....

Six Lapwing, two Curlew, one Wheatear and lots of Carrion Crow.
