Spent a couple of hours along the Irwell at Cloughfold yesterday evening.
Spotted Flycatcher.....could only locate one pair, both adults were actively feeding young at the nest, because of the location it is impossible to see how many young without causing disturbance, so would be interested to know in the next few days if anyone has time to check the site for fledgling numbers.
Grey wagtail....adults feeding at least three young.
Dipper.....two adults feeding and flying up and down, no young seen.
Blackcap....adults feeding and calling.
Willow Warbler.....at least two singing and feeding.
