20:00-21:00

Canada Goose, c30 flew in at dusk,

Goosander, 1 redhead in south bay,

Kestrel, 3 hunting Nutshaw,

Swift, 29 feeding over rushy field behind boat house for 20 minutes before the majority moved on south,

Swallow, c12,

Whinchat, 2 males behind boat house,

Stonechat, 2 behind boat house.

Hi Dave

I had a look up at Clowbridge this afternoon hoping for whinchat. Unfortunately, if they were still there I managed to avoid them. I can add the following to your list, though

  • Canada goose - min 77, mostly in the fields behind point wood
  • mallard - c50
  • sparrowhawk - male near the car park
  • peregrine - 1 flew over the res
  • stock dove - 1
  • pied wagtail - min 10
  • willow warbler - 1
  • whitethroat - 1 associating with a family of stonechats near the pumphouse
  • stonechat - 11 between pumphouse valley and the boathouse
  • raven - 1
  • reed bunting - 5
