A walk around Grane produced very little today with only the following of note

• cormorant - 9 at Holden Wood am & 4 on Ogden. 24 were in the roost at Holden Wood at 4pm
• Canada goose - 107 at Holden Wood & 106 at Ogden
• goldeneye - 1 female at Holden Wood
• goosander - 1 female on Ogden (not a common sight at Grane these days)
• black-headed gull - c200 across the 3 reservoirs
• common gull - 1 at ogden
• kestrel - 1 at Holden Wood & 1 at Clough Head
• stonechat - 1pr at Holden Wood
• mistle thrush - 2 at Calf Hey
• redwing - 2 heard at Calf Hey
• fieldfare - c40 at Holden Wood
• goldfinch - min 25 at Calf hey
• siskin - min 2 calling birds at Clough Head
• reed bunting - flock of 5 at Holden Wood
