Canada goose - 1pr at Scout Moor Res, 1pr at Cragg High Level Tank & 3prs at Cowpe Res
mallard - 3 over
moorhen - 1 on Kenroy's pond
buzzard - pr at the head of Plunge valley
kestrel - 1 at Cowpe Lowe
little owl - 1 in Hurdles Quarry was the first here for a few years for me
lesser black backed gull - 16 in singles and small flocks mostly flying up the Irwell Valley
woodpigeon - c10 at Warth
stock dove - 3 at Warth & at least 5 in Hurdles Quarry
green woodpecker - 1 at Warth
skylark - c25 between Hurdles Quarry & Cragg Quarry
meadow pipit - c60 between Hurdles Quarry & the south side of Cragg Quarry, with several displaying males
pied wagtail - 3 at Hurdles Quarry & 3 in Cragg Quarry
robin - 18 at Warth
wheatear - 1 male at Hurdles Quarry, 1pr at Heights Quarry & 1pr at Cragg Quarry
stonechat - 1pr at the south east side of Cowpe Lowe
blackbird - 5 at Warth
ring ouzel - male at Hurdles Quarry
song thrush - 1pr & 2 singing males at Warth
wren - 10 singing birds at Warth
dunnock - 6 at Warth
