Canada Goose, 3 pairs inc 1 sitting bird plus 25 on Clowbridge res,

Mallard, c6,

Tufted Duck, 1 male on Clowbridge Res,

Goosander, male plus 3 redheads on Clowbridge Res,

Buzzard, soaring bird over Rawtenstall,

Sparrowhawk, female over Chapel Hill,

Kestrel, pair in display over Rawtenstall,

Moorhen, 1 on 'the back pond' and 1 on 'the lagoon' at Clowbridge,

Curlew, 1 calling over Greenfold,

Lapwing, 1 at Greenfold and 4 pairs at Clowbridge,

Collared Dove, 3 in Rawtenstall,

G.S.Woodpecker, calling bird at Brooks',

Nuthatch, calling birds in Balladen Clough and at Brooks',

Skylark, c40 many in song,
