2 gadwall at Holden Wood around lunchtime. Also around Grane a reeling grasshopper warbler (HWR), 3 groups of stonechats, adult and 2 young wheatears (Jamestones) and a great crested grebe (Calf Hey). Only waders were common sandpiper (Calf Hey and Jamestones), one lapwing (Jamestones) and 2 oystercatchers (Jamestones). Also yesterday a pair and 2 young coots at HTL.
Amongst other odds and sods last week were 3 grasshopper warblers at Greenfold and one at Clowbridge on Wednesday (22/7), one grasshopper warbler at Greenfold and a crossbill at Edge Cote on Friday (24/7).
