Hi David

I went round about 7.30ish presumably after you had gone when the common scoter (male) was still present. Around 20 pied wagtails and 50+ meadow pipits along the dam/ south shore at this time.

Prior to this I had my first vis-mig attempt of the year at Compstons which was almost entirely bird free but for a single tree pipit which landed in the top plantation before heading back north (!). 4 wheatears between Compstons and Meadow Head.

On the way home 2 whinchats and 2 wheatears on Bonfire Hill and a single wheatear at Edge Yat

Andy
