Yellow-Browed Warbler. C/booth 13th Oct 20.

A lovely YBW spent some time around our feeders and in my garden this afternoon and showed extremely well (5-6ft!) Dave O was fortunate to be there when it showed at its best. Not seen later till dusk but will check in the morning to see if its still around.

It was good watching the YB Warbler literally "right on the doorstep" Usually have to go to the east coast to enjoy them.

Glad you were there Dave.

No sign this morning till lunchtime as Russ and me had a net up with lure on and no show. 
Bramblings heard twice in the tree tops though..

At least you gave it a go, migrants mostly move on quick, especially after seeing us two close up !!
