A YBW was heard calling once this afternoon and was caught in my bird feeder ringing net ride at home. On first seeing the bird I immediately thought it looked a totally different colour and its behaviour was completely different to Tuesdays one..  Looking at the pics and watching it my dad and I are 99.9% sure its a different bird to Tuesdays bird.!! There were quite a few plumage differences too, esp the head. Bird 1 had feather damage under the bill, no 2 clean. Bird 1 was very brightly coloured overall, no 2 very dark and drab coloured. Bird 2's supercillium had some extra yellow above the eyestripe further back than the eye..
