That kingfisher at Wallbank is ridiculously tame at times. On Sunday it flew into a tree and sat a few feet away from me. I've seen it do this a couple of times now. Shame it wasn't a better day light wise on Sunday, but the attached photos are still ok for me. I'd recommend visiting the site for anybody who wants to photograph kingfisher and is able to do so under the current Covid restrictions. Instead of having to wait patiently in a hide you just have to stand on the main road and wait for it to land nearby.
Been a couple of times Kevin and had no joy, but this time it perched close, then sat on the decking overlooking the lodge. The Nuthatch was very vocal as it visited the bird feeder.
