One skylark near the summit. Around Beetle Hill/Moor Road 11 rooks with the more usual corvids, one reed bunting and a flock of 35-40 meadow pipits.
Lots of singing birds along the river including 5 chaffinches and 3 song thrushes between Townsendfold and Irwell Vale, plus several wheezing greenfinches.
