Jack Snipe - 1 between Bull Hill and Scholes Height

Common Snipe - 5 widely scattered

Lapwing - 7 Scholes Height

Golden Plover - 2 Scholes Height and flying around a bit

Red Grouse - 1 north of Pasture Gate

Meadow Pipit - 2 separate birds Beetle hill and Bull Hill (my first since the cold spell)

Skylark - present over the entire moor with many singing (no large groups)

 

Grane (southern side only)- 2 goldeneyes Ogden, one goosander HWR, 3 oystercatchers Calf Hey plus 4 HWR. 41 lapwings around HWR with one pair displaying. A singing reed bunting HWR was also my first since the snow
