Cormorant, 2 sat on a pylon,

Greylag Goose, 1 at Deeply Pond,

Canada Goose, c20 scattered throughout the valley,

Teal, 8 at Deeply Pond,

Mallard, c6,

Buzzard, 3 singles,

Kestrel, pair plus 3 singles,

Pheasant, 2,

Curlew, 2 pairs in display,

Oystercatcher, pair in fields near Walmersley Golf Club,

Lapwing, c10 pairs plus a flock of 6 on Rossendale Schools fields,

Snipe, 2 near Deeply Pond and 3 on Harden Moor,

Jack Snipe, 1 on Harden Moor,

B.H.Gull, c12,

Stock Dove, 1 on Deeply Chimney plus flock of 3 over,

Wood Pigeon, c60 in flocks to 20,

Green Woodpecker, 2 yaffling birds,

Skylark, c15 with c6 in song,

Meadow Pipit, c25,

Pied Wagtail, 7,

Stonechat, pair at Cheesden Bar Lodge,

Song Thrush, c5 in song,
