Had a walk around the reservoirs and quarries with Sarfraz on a cold, windy day. There were 2 male Wheatears sheltering from the wind on the slopes of the Jamestone quarry nearest to Heap Clough. The other thing of note was the sheer numbers of meadow pipits throughout the whole walk - many more than we saw & heard in the same areas last weekend.
