Reed Warbler, 1 singing from deep cover in car park approx. 10m from ticket machine.

Grasshopper Warbler, reeling bird!

Blackcap, 1 in song,

Willow Warbler, 4 in song,

Buzzard, 1,

Raven, 1.

Still there when I left at 7pm. Showing and singing from small bridge approaching the car park at Clowbridge. Nice to see some of the Rossendale club members. Socially distanced of course.

Brilliant find by David Nuttall and completely unexpected.  Still present in same place from 7.45pm and onwards but did not sing except a brief subsong.  The photos are not brilliant but the 5th photo shows it having a Reddish rump area which is another feature of Reed Warbler.  Paul Burke picked it up first.  Another addition to my Rossendale list.  A Great Spotted Woodpecker was flying around in the open a  couple of times, going across the reservoir  too.
