Hi Bob,

I was driving over the summit of Grane rd this morning c10am and notice 2 big flocks of Fieldfare coming up and over out of the Grane valley and onwards to the west. I pulled up on the Belthorn rd and a further 6 big flocks came over in c20 mins of watching.. must have been close to 1000 birds in these flicks so obviously a big movement day.  Lots of big flocks moving on the Fylde coast later in the day too.
