• banded demoiselle - a male was a first for me at this site
• emerald damselfly - around 12
• common blue damselfly - c200 (100 at each of 2 different ponds) at Whitworth Quarry & c20 at Spring Mill Res
• large red damselfly - 2
• common hawker - 4
• brown hawker - 1 at East Gate Woods, Whitworth
• emperor dragonfly - 2
• four spot chaser - 8
• black-tailed skimmer - min 4, pair in mating wheel, with female later seen ovipositing & another male at one site & another male at another site. This is the first confirmed breeding for Rossendale to the best of my knowledge
