0930/1230 hrs Calm sunny 7/11 degrees.

Starling.  Several flocks of 50 + all round.

Fieldfare.  Possibly over 150 in loose flocks moving from Hawthorn and fields.

Peregrine.  Single on stone wall watching the activity of the above.

Snipe.        5 flushed from edge of moor

Chaffinch    Several spread round the route.

Goldfinch.   12/18/10 flocks at Wham hill, Buckhurst and Cheesden.

Linnet.        3 in Gorse above Ridshaw.

Mallard.      16 on Buckhurst lodge.

Moorhen      2 on above.

Grey Heron   One on above.

House Sparrow   Around 20 at Buckhurst.

Dunnock   Three at above.

Reed Bunting    Single in valley.

Redwing      Only seven on hawthorn in valley.

Kestrel      Two, one near substation and another at Buckhurst.

Mistle Thrush   Two in Hawthorn in valley.

Carrion Crow    Numerous.

Wood Pigeon    Many.

Stock Dove     Two behind Two Owls cottage.

Greenfinch     Five at above.

Long-tailed Tit   Flock of 18 moving through trees in Valley.

Dipper     Single on Cheesden Brook.

Good numbers of Blackbird, Blue Tit, Great Tit and Wren, all round.
