1 comatose Large bee fly (Bombylius major) in my back yard, maybe more common than I realise but a first for me.

Hi Bob

I've seen a couple of these recently. The first was in Staghills Woods a couple of weeks ago and the second was in our backyard on Tuesday 25th April. Like you I can't remember seeing them previously, although this may be due to not looking as much as anything
