White-winged Tern had been reported at Brockholes on number one pit lake 

On arriving at the lake the White-winged Tern was flying on the far side of the lake distant view but viewable

all the same a nice lifer 

The White-winged Tern was reported later the same day at Alston Reservoir then also on the 2 July back and forwards 

from Brockholes and Alston
